What I Ate Wednesday #2


This is my second WIAW post, it was such a success last week that I decided to stick with it!! I guess there's a little voyeur hiding inside the best of us :)
In honor of March, with St. Patrick's Day and everything, this month's WIAW motto is to pack as many greens on your plate as humanly possible. And YES the starbucks emblem does count :)

There's no start into the day without my beloved coffee with a little bit of regular milk - soy milk and almond milk!!

(I usually never have more than 2 coffees a day though, because it gives me palpitations)


we shared yummy lentil-mint soup as an appetizer..
which made our tummies smile =)


obligatory giant salmon filet... check!

and then for a very low-key dinner I just threw together some frozen broccoli & cauliflower, cooked them in vegetable broth from the store, pureed them with a handmixer, then threw in a lot of sunflower seeds (not pictured because I had this genius idea after I took this) and sprinkled with nutritional yeast!! et Violà


But this Wednesday is not over yet, so maybe I will pour myself a glass of this:
Or even better: the whole bottle (it's tiny after all!)
