Kaffee Kurzweil

Kaffee Kurzweil is a nice little restaurant/café we discovered last Sunday, located near Karlsplatz in the 4th district of Vienna in a side street off of Wiedner Hauptstraße. Admittedly, I've never heard of it before, but when searching for breakfast places online I read about it here. We ordered the "English breakfast" (sausage, bacon, 2 eggs, baked beans, grilled mushrooms) and the "Levantine breakfast" (with halloumi, 2 eggs sunny-side up, little bit of guacamole). Service was okay, the food was good, although the portions were quite small. Not very filling if you ask me. To top it off, the waitress even forgot to bring out my flatbread. Furthermore our food arrived approximately 7 minutes apart, which I consider an absolute no-go when eating out. Honestly, who wants to sit there waiting, completely starved and watch the other person eat??? :(

All in all, not bad but I don't feel the need to go there again anytime soon. It just didn't throw me off, nothing special really.
